Digi-Scrapbooking: Hello Weekend

I downloaded the newest version of Photo Shop Elements 11 last week and so I've been itching to play with it and do some digi-scrapbooking.

Now, if you haven't upgraded yet don't get too freaked out by the new layout of the program. I do recommend that you download the 30 day free trial of it before buying it though...just in case it's not your cup of tea.  Yes, it does look A LOT different, but everything is still there & (drum roll...) you can now EASILY install actions!  Woo-hoo! I seriously hated the hacking that had to be done to install them in earlier versions.  Check out Jessica's video of some of the changes too...it's a great resource for getting going quickly with version 11 if you're already using previous versions.  Also, you can check out this feature tour video from Adobe.

Ok, now onto my digi-scrap'd page...

We went away to Santa Barbara a couple of weekends ago.  I only had my cell phone with me and so I just took a few photos with it, but the randomness of the photos work well for this layout.

I'm totally loving all the arrows in this kit too! Adorbs!  Oh, and by the way, the awesome template I used for this layout is free...so go over to Megan's blog & grab it!
