Non-Traditional Easter Wreath
Get ready for Easter, it’s almost here!
This spring project help get your home ready to celebrate and is a different twist on a standard wreath.
Supplies:
ScanNCutDX machine and accessories

Instructions:
- Place the 12” x 12” white vinyl onto a ScanNCutDx mat and load it into the machine. On your ScanNCutDX, press “pattern.”
Click on the second icon, scroll down to the icon with the donkey and fairy and press it.
Scroll down and click on the floral wreath (AR-O036)
Resize it to 10.5” wide
Select “cut,” and turn the “half cut” setting on by clicking on the wrench and clicking “on.”
Press “start.” After it’s finished cutting, unload the mat and remove the vinyl
- Download the free ScanNCut file and load the design onto your ScanNCutDX.
Delete the banner by selecting it, then clicking “edit,” then “delete.” Next, click “ok” three times.
Place the 3” x 7” white vinyl onto a ScanNCutDx mat and load it into the machine.
Select “cut” then “start.” After it’s finished cutting, unload the mat and remove the vinyl
- Press the home button and reload the downloaded pattern back onto your ScanNCutDX.
Delete the words by selecting them, then clicking “edit,” then “delete,” and then “ok.”
Next, click on “object edit” and increase the number of designs to 2.
Place the 5” x 12” dark pink vinyl and the 5” x 12” light pink vinyl onto a ScanNCutDx mat and load it into the machine. Next, click “ok” three times.
Click on “scan” and scan in the cutting mat.
Drag the two banners into the correct placement. Then press “ok.”
Select “cut” then “start.” After it’s finished cutting, unload the mat and remove the vinyl
- Weed out all of the vinyl sheets by removing the negative vinyl. For the banners, keep the dark pink for the outline and the light pink for the centers.
- Cut a piece of transfer paper to 11” x 11” and remove the paper backing. Place the sticky transfer tape on top of the floral wreath and use a scrapper or spatula to burnish it onto the vinyl.
- Slowly peel up the transfer tape to remove the vinyl from the backing.
Place it so the wreath is centered on the wood sign.
Burnish it again, and then slowly remove the transfer tape.
- Cut the used transfer tape down to 5” x 11” or use a new piece and remove the backing paper. Place the transfer tape down on top of the dark pink outline of the banner.
Burnish it onto the vinyl and then slowly peel it up.
Without removing the banner outline, place it on top of the light pink banner pieces.
Burnish it onto the vinyl and then slowly peel it up.
Place the two layer banner where desired on the wood sign, burnish it and slowly peel off the transfer tape.
- Use the same transfer tape and same steps to transfer “Happy Easter” on top of the banner.
- Place rhinestones in the flower centers.
