Also, you know how I love making digi-scrapbooks? Well, I had the opportunity to test out the Mosaic app (download it here) and I made a quick video about my experience.  Let me tell you, I've made a few books with other manufactures, and this is by far the easiest & quickest to do!

Now I will say that if you're an avid digi-scrapper and are computer savvy this may not be the app you are looking for to make a detailed photo book.  It's more for the "I have all these photos, I want to make into a quick book, and I only have 5 minuets to do it" type of person. Yes, it's that easy!

Oh, and did I mention I got it in 3 days?  Yeah, they're quick!!

And sorry Droid users, so far they only have an Apple app.  :(

Digi-Scrapping: Willow Our Puppy

For those of you who haven't heard, we got a puppy. Totally unplanned, which is SO not us.

We had actually been looking at middle-aged rescue dogs online for a few month and never found the right situation when low and behold we got a phone call from a family member...and the rest was history! ;)

It's funny how she's really not any of the things we were looking for, and yet she is exactly what we needed.  She fits in great with our older dog, and our cat is coming around to liking tolerating her.

She's an Australian Labradoodle in case you're wondering, and she's a "throwback"...which means that she got some of the recessive genes that are "undesirable" in this breed.  Like the face shape, the straighter hair, possum tail, etc.  We think she's cute!

Here's my first scrapbook page I've made.  I used pics from the first couple of days with us. She was so tiny then!

Digi-Scrapbooking: Hello Weekend

I downloaded the newest version of Photo Shop Elements 11 last week and so I've been itching to play with it and do some digi-scrapbooking.

Now, if you haven't upgraded yet don't get too freaked out by the new layout of the program. I do recommend that you download the 30 day free trial of it before buying it though...just in case it's not your cup of tea.  Yes, it does look A LOT different, but everything is still there & (drum roll...) you can now EASILY install actions!  Woo-hoo! I seriously hated the hacking that had to be done to install them in earlier versions.  Check out Jessica's video of some of the changes too...it's a great resource for getting going quickly with version 11 if you're already using previous versions.  Also, you can check out this feature tour video from Adobe.

Ok, now onto my digi-scrap'd page...

We went away to Santa Barbara a couple of weekends ago.  I only had my cell phone with me and so I just took a few photos with it, but the randomness of the photos work well for this layout.

I'm totally loving all the arrows in this kit too! Adorbs!  Oh, and by the way, the awesome template I used for this layout is free...so go over to Megan's blog & grab it!
