I love, love, love this photo of my 4 yr old niece and was so happy to finally get a chance to scrapbook it! It's almost all October Afternoon products used on it and I used Simple Scrapper's May sketch/template to create it.

Here's a couple of layouts I created for Simple Scrapper. They have some awesome sketches/digi templates this month (April's will be go "live" tonight)! I used one of them to create a traditional layout...and then another to make a digital layout.
Here's my favorite one...it's the digi one:

That's my littlest niece...so cute! I use a really old (free!!) 2P's digi-paper kit with the Simple Scrapper template.
And here's the tradional layout. In addition to the Simple Scrapper sketch I used the Remember When April Crop Kit. For Crop Kit assignments I'm only allowed to use basic scrapbooking supplies and what's in the kit....so challenging!! I did cheat a bit & used my Distrezz-It-All around the photo...I was in a time cruch & needed it distressed quickly!
The die-cut background already had the tree with the owls on it...I just added the 3-D handmade paper flowers and of course a paper ruffle...I love me some ruffles!!

Having only nieces I tend to scrapbook girly things most of the time, so when I was assigned this BoBunny line for one of my design team projects at Remember When I was a bit outside my element and begged my friend Dana for pics of her adorable son!
I used another one of the March sketched from Simple Scrapper to make this and had fun jazzing up the patterned background paper with some of the white metal i-rock studs.

Do you remember that little puppy Bailey, my brother-in-law's dog? Well she's all grown up now and the other day I snapped a photo of her and decided to scrapbook it. I'm eventually going to create a "Dogs We Love" album with the layouts I've made of family and friends dogs.
All the ingredients for this page with the exception of the Thickers that spell out her name are from a Studio Calico kit. I accordion folded a the top strip of paper and then machine sewed it to my page.
I created the ribbon flower by cutting two pieces of ribbon...on the first I did a gathering stitch along the bottom of the ribbon and then pulled it tight so that it formed a flower and then tied it off. On the other ribbon I folded it almost in half and then did a gathering stitch along the fold, pulled it tight so it formed a flower and then tied it off. I used Fabric Tac to glue the two flowers together and then topped off the center with a button & some bling.
The sketch for this layout is one of the ones for March from Simple Scrapper.

From the second I saw this idea on Simple Scrapper's February Project I loved it & couldn't wait to do it. I used my Studio Calico kit on it...which I think was perfect for it along with a Hambly transparency for the cover. I ruffed up the edges with my Distrezz-It-All again and created the tags with my Cricut and some Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and bound it with my Cinch. I can't wait to give it to my Hubs. :)
