Here's another page from my art journal.

I started off by applying clear gesso (one of my current favorite things) over the entire page of book text and then sketching out my words.  I then painted in the background and "BIG" and then used my ZIG Millennium pen to write "dream" and outline "BIG".  I used stamps for the "don't stop!!!" and then spattered the whole page with paint.

Really for me the most important part of this journaling page is the "don't stop!!!"  Sometimes it takes a loooooong time and a lot of work for dreams to happen, but the important part is not to give up!

Now, most of you know that I've been helping Warner Brother's promote voting for 2 Broke Girls in The People’s Choice Awards of 2012. In 2 Broke Girls they realize that dreams may come true through an honest day’s work. Max and Caroline’s dream is opening their own cupcake business...and that got me thinking about my own dreams...ones that I'm going to journal about on the page opposite this one.  I like to write my goals and dreams down.  When you later look back at them you can see how far you've come and really soak in the blessing and gratitude.

Yay it's the weekend!  -Although for me time seems to be flying by so quickly I wouldn't mind a few more weekdays to get stuff done before the holidays start up.  I can't believe Christmas is only 37 days away!  Yikes!!  Well, in preparation I got my hair done.  Yeah, I have priorities. ;)

Also, I've been catching up on TV while I've been relearning how to crochet again thanks to CraftyMinx great (& free) crochet school. I fell behind with TV when I was traveling in the fall and so I have a lot to watch.  The DVR was almost at it's max capacity!

Speaking of TV...it's voting time for the People's Choice Awards 2012!  My hair stylist & I were talking about our favorite TV shows today and we both agreed that there are some great new shows this year!

I'm totally loving how funny 2 Broke Girls is!  The lines have my husband and I laughing so hard we have to pause it.  It defiantly has my vote for Favorite New TV Comedy!

Now our other favorite comedy, The Big Bang Theory, is up for Favorite Network TV Comedy.  -Now if you ask my husband about that show he will brag how he knew it was going to be soooo funny & made me watch it's pilot when it first aired even though I didn't think I'd like it...and as much as I hate to admit it, he was totally right.  We've watched every episode!  It's up against some tough competition to win, but I really think it's one of the funniest shows out there right now.
